Latest Tips, Tools, & Technology to Build Your Business
The Clock Is Ticking
Boy, I only have a few more days until I’m supposed to be ready to start on the business plan for my new business and I still haven’t decided what path to take. I did, however, discover a very interesting and instructive web page that gives statistics on the average income for various occupations.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics has a wealth of information about various occupations, and although my exact “job description” isn’t found in one area I’m interested in, I was able to look at that whole genre of professions and get a pretty good idea what I could potentially make.
The things I’m interested in are not huge moneymakers, but they are near the mean income of $70,000, so they are all contenders. Unfortunately it didn’t help me decide which way to go, as they were all within 10K of each other. Of course, my husband had to complicate matters, coming up with another contender in the final hours!
I can tell you the devil’s advocate is working fast and furious. I come up with reasons to choose one and it comes up with a dozen reasons not to, so I decide to do another, and it does the same thing! I wish I had a crystal ball that would tell me what to do…
